já resolvi o problema. Era pq estava usando dois jar que continha o mesmo pacote. Daí o Dalvik não sabia qual deles usar.

Re: "Conversion to Dalvik format failed with error 1" Hehe, também tive o mesmo problema quando atualizei o android aqui, fiquei p... da vida pois estava funcionando tudo corretamente, tive que retirar os jar, ou as app lib se tiver, limpar os projetos e depois adicionar novamente, simples, mas demorei um tempão pra descobrir que era isso....  abs, Evandro _________________Evandro P. amigos , estava usando o link2sd para aumentar o espaco da minha memoria interna , e estava ocorrendo tudo bem , ate eu comecar a transferir a pasta dalvik cache, fiz todos os comandos e dei reboot no celular pela própria linha de comando do adb shell.
so que agora meu celular nao liga por completo , ele so fica no modo reboot , queria transferir esta pasta para o celular novamente pra ver se eu conserto o bug . mais o celular nao e lido pelo computador, oque eu faco ? queria usar o adb com o celular desligado mais nao da certo , eu sei … mais sera que a uma solucao pra mim .

Re: "Conversion to Dalvik format failed with error 1" Este erro acontece quando temos conflito nas bibliotecas do projeto, no meu caso eram dois jars que utilizavam o mesmo pacote. Você deve procurar em seu projeto quais jars podem estar utilizando classes de um mesmo pacote.

Excluí o item Android 4.2.2 da aba Libraries do Java Build Path, ao contrário do que o link do stackoverflow que pedia para excluir Android Dependencies.
Não localizei onde recolocá-lo ali, alguém me ajuda?
